Douglas Georgia Sports
The Middle School Athletic Conference consists of schools in the State of Georgia, the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands. We abide by all laws established within the conference and are subject to the same rules and regulations as any other school district in Georgia.
Parents are encouraged to join booster clubs to help raise funds and support in other ways. Each school has a sports director who can provide information about the school's sports programs and other information about the program.
There are numerous opportunities for middle and high school students to participate in school and interschool activities. These activities offer students enhanced learning opportunities, including academic, physical, social and social skills, as well as a variety of sports. In addition to participating in sports activities such as football, basketball, baseball, football, lacrosse, athletics and other sports, students must also have a completed medical certificate in the field of physical education (M.A.S.E.) and a health and psychosomatic assessment (H.M.H.I.P.). The form, which is available to all participating schools and students on site, is subject to random drug testing upon registration and at any time during the school year.
The opportunity to participate in this program is open to all eligible students who are willing to take responsibility for congruent privileges, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity.
